1/16/17

1/16/20I7 was working on Brecken’s baby book and Kins came in to watch. She was sitting on my lap and she leaned in and whispered in my ear, “ I love you mommy” then she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Brecken was on the floor and heard her so he came over to whisper something in my ear too. And he leans in a quietly says. “ You are a stinker!” I died laughing!

1/17/2017- Kinsley asked if when I’m a grandma and she is a mommy if we could work somewhere together. I asked her where she would want to work and she said with a big smile…”Maybe Old McDonalds. And we could make the ice cream there!”

1/18/17 - Today I was telling Brecken that I loved him and he said he loved me back. Then I said, " But I love you so much more" He said..." Not even possible!"  Then daddy started laughing and Brecken said, " Daddy I can make you laugh!"-

Kins and Brecken are reading!! It has been so fun. We started a reading chard at home. The get to put a sticker on after each book they read (little Bob books). And once they get to 20 they get to go out for ice cream! Buddy is confident in his reading and rarely misses reads a word. He takes it slow but very accurate.  Kins was determined the first day to read 20 books. I think she ended up with 9 books on the first day. Determined girl. And even though she gets frustrated sometimes she doesn't quite. That girl could read all day. I love it!

Snow Day!

So. Much. Snow! It's insane how much snow we have been getting. It just won't stop! Boise hasn't received this mush snow in thirty years. The kids are loving it though! And I'm loving how pretty it looks. It's a winter wonderland. It's a good time to have a broken toe...when you're practically snowed in and can't go anywhere anyway. But I do wish I could go frolic in the snow. But I guess watching from the couch where Im all bundled up in a blanket will have to do.
