Happy New Year!
We had a fun/low-key New Years Eve. We had cheese fondue followed with chocolate fondue. Which is one of our favorite traditions. Then we played some games and had a dance party before ringing in the New Year a little early with the littles (we streamed the ball dropping in NYC from last year....lol.) Then toasted to the new year and made lots of noise with every music maker/shaker the kids could round up. We had a great 2016 and can't wait to see what 2017 has in store!

Mimi and Papa G
Mimi and Papa G came to visit. When they heard I broke my toe they wanted to come to help. We loved having them visit. They even were able to bring their Lularoe clothes with and do couple Live sales. They kids were so excited to help! Kinsley practiced all day how she was going to sell the skirt. "It's purple and stretchy and really pretty." And Brecken was making up prices for everything...that one is .40 and that one is $100. Good little helpers for sure.

Merry Christmas
We had a great Christmas! The kids were so excited when they saw that Santa brought them each a bike and telescopes! Kinsley also got some mermaid stuff and Brecken got a cool garbage truck. Since there is way too much snow outside we have been letting the kids ride their bikes inside. They are loving it!

Christmas Eve and a Broken Toe
We had an eventful Christmas Eve. We ate Chinese food at Panda Express with Mimi and Papa K and then drove around to look at Christmas lights. When we got home we opened up Christmas jammies and then watched the Nativity story and read some Christmas books. The kids then set out cookies and milk for Santa. They also sprinkled magic reindeer food out on the snow for Santa's reindeer. Then we went up stairs to see if we could see Santa's sleigh. The kids were so excited and anxious to get to bed. Kins was really worried if she didn't get to bed in time that Santa might not come so she went to bed quickly. I wish I could say that was the most eventful/exciting part of the night. But unfortunately as I was walking down the stairs I tripped on my new pjs and landed weird on my toe and broke it pretty badly. We ended up having our neighbor girl come stay with the kids for a few hours so we could go to the ER. Merry Christmas right?! They had to reset my toe which was super fun! Exactly what I wanted to be doing on Christmas Eve.... We got home around 2:00. We hadn't wrapped a single present. We finally got everything done and went to bed at 5:30. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night...

Happy Birthday Mommy
Can't believe I'm already 33! What?! How did that happen. Crazy I tell ya. I had a great birthday though. I woke up to a yummy breakfast and then Kinsley and I went and got our nails done. When we got home we all played out in the snow. Then that night Cam took me to Le Coq d' or at Chateau de Fleurs for Dinner. It was the fanciest/most expensive restaurant we have ever been too. We were the only people there for a while. It felt like we were at Downtown Abey.

Cuties
These two were so cute today. They started off the day making marshmallow snowmen. We make these every year and they love it. We used larger marshmallows this year so they turned out even better. Bracken was funny. Later in the day I noticed that he had tapped everything on his snowman. He said he didn't want anything to fall off. So his entire snowman ended up being covered in tape. He has a slight tape obsession. lol! Seriously I think he goes through one roll of tape a day. Always crafting that little guy and I love it.
Later they asked if I would read the Nativity story so that they could act it out. This is picture is of Mary holding baby Jesus (Brecken's dog Cheese) And Brecken was Joseph. They wanted me to be the innkeeper. They brought their rocking horse in to use as the donkey. They would ride on it for a second and then get off and walk over to me and B would say, " Do you have any room?" and K would say" I'm Mary and I'm pregnant with baby Jesus the Lord." Then I told them sorry i have no room. Then they got back on the 'donkey' and rode for a bit until they came to the next Inn. And they repeated the same thing. They were cute little actors and really sweet as they acted it out. I love their imaginations and that this is what they choose to play. It was so cute and so sweet.

December 17th
Loved hearing Cam practicing with his mom and Court. So beautiful! We had such a great time with Court, Amanda and Moxie. We did a lot of fun stuff while they were here. I think were a bit worn out from all the fun. They never take naps but they both fell asleep in the middle of the day a couple times and in the car while we were driving around. That NEVER happens....they were just so tired. I think daddy was loving the cuddle time!
Buddy the Elf was pretty mischievous. One day he got into the marshmallows and made quite a mess.
