Funny Kiddos

Kinsley was on a roll today with the funny things she was saying. I kept texted Cam because she was cracking my up. Here are just a few funny things she has done/said.

-She looked at me with a serious face and said, "Mommy Me and Brecken are Tigerrrrrtastic!" Which is what they say on the show Daniel Tiger. Then she smiled like she was so proud of her self for saying that.

-This one is more cute..so usually when she is sad or gets hurt she says, "I want my mommy back!" and she will continue to say it, even while I am holding her. Cam has been in Alaksa the last few days. So Kinsley fell and it took me a second to get to her and when I picked her up she said, " No, I want my Daddy back!"

- I told the kids that after their bath we could make some muffins. So when I was getting Brecken changed I could here Kinsley in the kitchen. When I walked in she had a mixing bowl and she had opened the bag of muffin mix and was pouring it in the bowl. I said, " What are you doing?" Kinsley said, "I just being a good mommy!" I said, " Yes, yes you are!"

- I cut B and Ks hair the other day. They were so cute. Usually B hates getting a hair cut and I just have to hurry through it. This time he sat patiently the whole time which was about 20 min. I would ask him questiions and he would just say, in a really sweet voice, " Okay." I would say, " Buddy can you look at your toes" or "Buddy i'm going to cut by your ear." And every time he would just say, " Okay" In a really soft/sweet voice. Oh I just love that sweet guy!

- Cam bought a new TV and it came yesterday.  After the guy brought it in the house and left Kinsley looked at me with a worried look and said," Mommy that guy is stinky and a monster!" luckily he didn't hear her...

- When the kids were taking their nap( or atleast supposed to be) I opened the gargage door and the alarm chimed. I could hear Brecken on the monitor say, " My daddy's home!" Then K said, " No MY daddy's home." Then B said, no MY daddy's home...YOUR mommy... MY daddy...cuz Brecken is a boy and daddy is a boy. Tinsey is a gul and mommy is a gul.

-Today I took the kids to the gym so I could go to Zumba. After class we went next door to the grocerie store. At the  store I witnessed a crazy lady sprinting down an aisle to catch her 3 year old twins who were holding hands and laughing as they quickly ran away from me..... I mean her. ;) Poor lady
wink emoticon poor lady! ‪#‎littlestinkers‬They were being good and either staying next to me or sitting in the cart until we got to the yogurt. I was reading the ingredients and I looked over and they were sneakily walking away from me. Then when they saw me looking at them they both started to laugh and run away from me and would not listen when I told them to come back. They probs couldn't even hear me beacuse they were giggling so hard. So I'm trying to catch up to them with my monster cart( with the kid car on it) but I'm failing misrably trying to weave through the crowd. At this point I ditched the cart grabbed my purse and took of running for them. They kept running and laughing until they ran into a corner. Luckily they stayed together and didn't run in opposite directions. Even though I was pretty upset with them at the moment deep down i was laughing... also everyone around me was laughing too. Until I got to them all they saw were these two little kids running and laughing like crazy. Those stinkers! We were going to go to McDonLDA but I don't them we couldn't go because they ran away from Mommy. They were not happy about that. I think the entire way home B said, " I so sad, I want Mcdonalds." Over and over and over...

When I put them down for their nap I could hear them on the monitor and this was their conversation.
K; Buddy, do we run away from mommy?!
B: Yes!!
K: No, no Buddy we stay by Mommy.
B:Okay, I hold Mommy's hand.

Kinsley and Brecken Turn 3

I can't believe how quickly Brecken and Kinsley are growing up. It is bitter-sweet for sure. I don't want them to grow up, I wish I could just freeze time. But on the other hand it is so fun to watch them learn and grow. They amaze me everyday with how smart, funny, kind, and energetic they are! I just love them more that words can even describe. They bring so much happiness into our home. I feel blessed to be their mommy.

We had so much celebrating their birthday. Aunt Minnie and Aunt Amy came to visit  and party with us! Brecken and Kinsley were so excited to see them and spend time with them. We all went to Jump Time for the Saturday Birthday party. When I asked B and K who they wanted to invite they said, " Beau and Scarlett." of course! So it was really sweet of them to come and play with B and K. We also invited the Schelins girls. After Jump Time we came home and had Pizza, cake and ice cream. I let B and K pick their birthday decorations a few days ago. Kinsley choose Frozen and Brecken chose "Strongman" aka Spider man. We split the table down the middle. Frozen decor on one side and Strong man on the other. We also did a pinata and then opened presents. Amy and Mindy were so sweet and totally spoiled B and K with presents. They had so much fun opening and playing with all their presents.

After the kids went to bed my sisters and I went out to dinner. We don't get together a ton so it was really nice to sit and talk. I have such amazing sisters!!

Monday was their actually birthday so of course we had to celebrate again. I took the kids to McDonald's for lunch. Then we walked over to Fred Meyers and they got to pick out a balloon and treat. We also bought candy for another pinata. Kinsley had her Elsa Birthday crown on and Brecken had his Strong man birthday mask on and they were holding their balloons. It was pretty obvious that it was their birthday, so a few people told them happy birthday.  After that we stopped Baskin-Robbins and they each got a ice-cream cone. Mimi and Papa K  were out of town all week and got back on Monday night. They came over and the twins had another party and more presents. We had cake again, did the pinata which I think daddy and papa enjoyed the most. lol. Then we played Pin the Tale on the Donkey. I wasn't sure if they would like it, but they loved it. So all in all I would say the twins had a pretty great Birthday!
